Account Executive Duties

Reports directly to: Director of Business Development & Operations
Job Duties:
As a trusted advisor, consultative solution selling of corporate IT solutions
Business development concentration
Account/Opportunity Management.
Preparing forecasts for territory.
Closing business to hit targets.
Work with partners and management to scope and manage solution sales cycle.
Attending industry/supplier events.
Keeping up to date on trends, industry, competitors, etc.
Work with management to develop sales and marketing strategies
Report sales activity to management
Contract negotiations
Identify and coordinate activities with key selling influences
 
Requirements:

5+ years experience selling Practice Management/Technical Solutions or Electronic Medical Record systems to the Hospital Market.
Superior oral, written and team-related communication skills and a service oriented mentality.
Knowledge of effective territory sales management within the Healthcare Market.
Must have strong discovery, consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation skills in meeting with “C-Level" client leadership.
Ability to manage multiple, complex, diverse sales initiatives simultaneously.
Knowledge of current information systems technology (hardware and software) and of healthcare industry/market trends.
Strategic sales and account-client planning skills.
Ability to demonstrate consistent closing techniques throughout the sales cycle.

Education: Bachelor degree required.
Sales Associate Duties
Reports directly to: Director of Business Development & Operations
Job Duties:
Seek out new opportunities to build and manage a pipeline selling IT products.
Set strategic appointments for Technical & Sales management to discuss service offerings
Establish a professional, working, and consultative relationship with the client, by developing a core
  understanding of the unique business needs of the client within their industry.
Contribute to proposal development, negotiations and deal closings.
Provide technical expertise and support and occasionally participate in client engagements.
Communicates directly with management to provide updates, sales reports and issues
Seeks guidance from management for establishing client base and sales techniques
 
Requirements:
Good knowledge of Venus Technology’s products and services.
Prospecting (Cold Calling), Negotiating and Closing Deals.
Assist with negotiating and driving deals to ensure successful closes and high win rate.
Good prioritization and delegation skills in order to focus on the key client opportunities.
Good knowledge of computer hardware/software.
Sales skills within the IT industry.
 
Education:
Bachelor in business administration or information technology required.
